Greater Cincinnati Foundation Stage

Enjoy daily entertainment at the Schott Amphitheater from a variety of fantastic local performance groups appealing to kids of all ages. Weekday mornings you can enjoy musical performances by area school kids showcasing their talents. Other scheduled performers include: Singer-songwriter-guitarist Zak Morgan and his sing-along songs and the Madcap Puppet Theater performing with their giant, colorful puppets.

Performers on this stage include:

Madcap Puppet Theater performs an original story entitled The Magical Traveling Storyman twice daily . Step back in time with Professor Silas B. Thistlewig and his band of merry players as they recreate an authentic old-time medicine show complete with funny fortunetellers, wacky jugglers and mysterious stories. Drawn from authentic Ohio Valley characters of the 1890s...who are we kidding!? This is giant puppets having a Madcap romp with history!

Zak Morgan has been compared to Dr. Suess and Shel Silverstein and described as “equal parts folk musician, stand-up comedian and grade-school educator. A Cincinnati native, Morgan has won national acclaim - including a Grammy nomination! - for his children's albums.

 

Local school groups perform Wednesday through Friday. We have selected schools from all across the area to perform, and are finalizing the performance schedule. Please check back for updates!
