Local Entertainment Schedule
Best of Cincinnati's Local Music Scene Showcased at Tall Stacks
CINCINNATI – The Tall Stacks Music, Arts & Heritage Festival announced today the schedule for local musicians performing at the event October 4-8. More than 30 local performers are scheduled to perform each day of the event. (EDITORS NOTE: Schedule Attached.)
The best of Greater Cincinnati’s local music scene will be showcased daily on-shore at Tall Stacks 2006, along with 48 national headliners including Wilco, Al Green, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Buddy Guy and the Blind Boys of Alabama. The festival, which has grown to be among the biggest and best roots music festivals in the Midwest, showcases the music that grew up on the river, from blues, jazz and Cajun to country, rock, folk, bluegrass and gospel. The schedule and lineup for the new Starbucks Emerging Artist stage, which will feature acoustic performances by local singer-songwriters, will be announced soon.
The entertainment is available for an unbeatable value: five-day general admission is just $22, or $20 when bought at select Kroger stores using your Kroger Plus Card, and free for kids 12 and under. For adult tickets, that comes to less than 25 cents a band!
